About The Role //

This role is focused on developing foundational strategies for building and evolving brands. You will work collaboratively with designers, mixed media artists, storytellers, engineers and experience designers to solve problems using a range of tools. You will be part of helping our clients evolve. The journey might include inspirational presentations, prototypes, workshops business planning, research and more.

This is a full-time, hybrid position in New York City, working across multiple client and internal projects.

Day-to-Day Expectations //
  • See gaps in our knowledge and fill them – through desktop research, engaging a network of partners or finding entrepreneurial ways to build insights and knowledge for the team.

  • Design formal research methodologies as part of a strategic SOW for our clients.

  • Be a hub of context and insights so our cross-functional teams can come to you to fill gaps in understanding.

  • Frame problems and act as a catalyst for generating new ideas.

  • Be a student of trends and emerging tools that might apply to our work and help to share those with the team.

  • Support the Founder and leadership team in winning new business by providing background research and/or participating in pitches.

  • Partner with Designers, Brand Managers and other creatives to generate and flesh out concepts.

  • Work with executional teams to ensure that the work maintains its strategic intent as it enters production.

  • Author or contribute to case studies that have been completed.

About You //
  • Experience in driving brand strategy at a design, innovation or creative agency.

  • Experience bringing strategies to life instead of just handing over briefs or decks.

  • Excellent communicator in writing, verbally and through images.

  • You know your way around modern office tools like G Suite, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Office, Keynote, sharing tools in iCloud, etc...

  • Looking to learn—a strong desire to learn & grow within this industry and our office.

  • A great collaborator—you thrive in a team dynamic, and find inspiration in working with a diverse group of players.

  • Able & willing to navigate in an evolving environment—ask questions, multi-task, research, and communicate honestly & transparently. We want you to learn as well as contribute.
